Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and guidelines for using the Loomis SaaS platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Comment-to-DM Automation

When utilizing our comment-to-DM automation features, you must abide by the following:

• No recurring direct messages (DMs) beyond Meta's standard one-reply-per-comment policy.
• No sending unsolicited spam or promotional material to users who have not explicitly engaged with your content.

2. Knowledge Base Content

Your uploaded knowledge base documents (PDFs, text) must not contain:

• Illegal, offensive, or defamatory content.
• The personal data, Protected Health Information (PHI), or financial data of third parties without explicit legal consent.
• Malware, viruses, or any harmful code.

3. Bot Persona & AI Transparency Requirements

You must disclose the AI nature of your bot to end-users (e.g., in accordance with the EU AI Act Article 50 / California SB 1001). We strongly recommend using an AI transparency greeting (e.g., "Hi, I am an AI assistant for [Business Name]").

4. Prohibited Uses

• Impersonation: You may not impersonate any person, public figure, or organization.
• Sensitive Data: You may not use the bot to proactively collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or biometric data) without appropriate safeguards and compliance infrastructure.
• Illegal Activities: You may not use Loomis for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities.

5. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your Loomis account, without a refund. In severe cases, we may report violations to law enforcement authorities or relevant third-party platforms.
